We have several author-friendly publishing arrangements available to select authors -- some where we publish by investing in the full publishing costs (≈25% of the time) and others where we invest collaboratively with the author (≈75% of the time). In either case, our author royalties and promotions program is one of the best in the industry.

Publisher's Note:  We are not like subsidy publishers where the author pays and the book is printed quickly with poor design, little or no editing or proofreading at a rate of about 10 to 20 titles per day -- those are not much more than print mills.

Nor are we like traditional publishers where your book lingers through production and gets back listed as soon as the next wave of new titles arrive -- those don't have the author's best interest at heart.

We, on the other hand, provide state of the art manuscript development, book design and printing. We continuously promote you, your books (and services if you are in business) by obtaining book reviews, by publishing your articles, by scheduling you on radio or television programs, by creating and promoting your personal brand, by providing Internet promotion, by providing publicity leads, and by providing ongoing professional speaking engagements or author events. Coming September 28-30, 2007 near Chicago, we will sponsor a Book Exhibit for our authors. This is where we will meet face-to-face with management and staff of hundreds of book retail stores in the midwest representing approximately 10 states. We will help to promote your book and will include your book in many of our promotional materials before, during, and after the event. Our mission is to create growth and notoriety for you and your book including orders orders, book signings, and marketing assistance from the book store staff. Additional opportunities may be available (if you act quickly) to be promoted at the General Autographing Sessions or to be a featured author at the Moveable Feast for the booksellers. ($50 each)

We turn your documents, special reports, assessments, white papers and books into downloadable e-products. Our package includes author webpage and product pages for each product.

Your own web presence with your own .com domain! BMS will place your book(s) and other products on the Internet complete with e-commerce, author events, news, book signing information, and more! Your web pages will have more features than sites that cost thousands of dollars. Your website will be available directly at your .com domain and will be linked to ReadingUp.com. In addition to contacting 5000 bookstore owners, we send an AP (Associated Press) style press release about your book directly to 700 book reviewers and critics at newspapers and magazines across the United States. We include your title in sales fliers to retail and wholesale customers. We always notify you of every response and follow-through on all submission requests.

In addition to contacting 10,000 bookstore owners, an AP Style Press Release will be sent 700 book reviewers at newspapers and magazines across the United States. We include your title in sales fliers to retail & wholesale customers. We then make direct phone calls to bookstores to place your book or to set-up book signings. Six national sales reps take your book to face-to-face meetings with bookstore owners.

We develop a press kit, media press release, and bookstore promotion for your book. We will then contact 500 radio and television producers, 200 book club administrators, 10,000 print media professionals and submit your media release to Internet search engines. We will also call newspapers, magazines, and radio stations in the author’s home-town (or market of their choice) to set up reviews, interviews, and appearances.

Planning a book signing, workshop, or other event?  We will research and contact the appropriate local media such as newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations to let them know of your event.  This can lead to interviews, listings, feature articles and more to draw attention to you and your event.

~ Reviewers & Critics   $399

Introduce your book to national book critics and reviewers! We write a customized AP style press release about your book and send it directly to 750 Book Reviewers and Critics. These are the premiere critics at the nation’s largest newspapers and magazines. While we write the promotion, you approve it and have final authority. We always notify you of every response and follow-through on all submissions.

Introduce your book to the most likely buyers! There are book clubs for every genre of books. If the right book is matched to the right club, there is no better return on investment in the industry. We will contact 5000 members of subject specific book clubs with information about your book. You approve the promotion and the clubs we contact.

~ Catalog to Bookstores   $299 per insertion

We place your book cover and description in our bookstore flyer which will be sent to thousands of bookstore owners across the country on a quarterly basis. We follow-up with order processing and monitor inventory levels to provide excellent service to authors, book retailers, and readers who are looking for your book!

~ Catalog to Libraries   $299 per insertion
